Return and Refund Policy

1. Service Cancellation
1.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations
Clients may cancel scheduled photography services subject to the following terms:
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before session: Full refund minus processing fees (typically 5-10% of total payment)
- Cancellation 24-48 hours before session: 50% refund of total payment
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before session: No refund; deposit or payment forfeited
1.2 Service Provider Cancellations
If we must cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, equipment failure, severe weather, etc.), we will:
- Make every effort to reschedule at a mutually convenient time
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
- Notify the client as soon as possible regarding the cancellation
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Completed Services
Refunds for completed photography services are generally not available once images have been delivered and payment has been received in full. Exceptions may be made in cases of:
- Material breach of service agreement by the service provider
- Technical failures resulting in unusable images that cannot be remedied
- Circumstances explicitly covered in the written service agreement
2.2 Partial Services
If a session is interrupted or cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the client's control, a partial refund may be provided based on the proportion of services completed.
3. Refund Process
3.1 Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, clients must contact us in writing via email at the contact address provided below. Refund requests must include:
- Booking reference or session date
- Reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation if applicable
3.2 Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction, unless otherwise agreed upon.
3.3 Processing Fees
Some refunds may be subject to processing fees to cover transaction costs. Processing fees are typically 5-10% of the refund amount and will be clearly communicated before processing.
4. Image Revisions and Corrections
If clients are not satisfied with delivered images due to technical issues or failure to meet agreed specifications:
- Minor corrections and adjustments are available within 14 days of delivery at no additional charge
- Substantial revisions or re-shooting may incur additional fees
- Clients should contact us within 7 days of delivery to discuss any concerns
5. Digital Product Refunds
As digital photography products (image files) cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, refunds for delivered digital products are handled according to the terms above. Once images are delivered, clients are responsible for maintaining backup copies.
6. Physical Product Returns
If physical products (prints, albums, etc.) are provided as part of the service:
- Defective or damaged physical products may be returned for replacement within 30 days of delivery
- Returns must be in original condition and packaging
- Shipping costs for returns due to defects are covered by us
- Returns due to client preference may incur restocking fees
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, services will be rescheduled or refunded as mutually agreed.
7.2 Disputes
If a dispute arises regarding refund eligibility, we will work in good faith to resolve the matter. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled according to the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Service.
8. Non-Refundable Services
The following services or fees are generally non-refundable:
- Rush processing fees
- Custom editing or retouching beyond standard processing
- Travel fees for location sessions (if session is cancelled by client)
- Administrative fees specified in service agreement
